About the
Seminar

In 1925 the First Pan-American Highway Congress was held, supported by the United States, at the headquarters of the Automovil Club Argentino in Buenos Aires.

In a context of major changes associated with new technologies, the Asociación Argentina de Carreteras (AAC) has considered prioritizing the commemoration of that 1925 Congress and paying tribute to its precursors by jointly organizing, with the International Road Federation (IRF) and the Automovil Club Argentino (ACA) -which will once again host the event- an International Seminar on key topics in the current discussion related to roads, regional connectivity, electromobility, and intelligent transportation systems.

This meeting will serve as a venue to commemorate the centennial of that historic event, which fostered the development and growth of the Pan-American highway system. It will also showcase the latest technological developments in the field of roads and transportation, along with presentations related to the development and progress of major regional road connectivity projects.

For all these reasons, we invite you to participate in this International Seminar, which will celebrate the centennial of this historic event by bringing together opinion leaders, professionals, and policymakers to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in the Pan-American region.
